Kayaking British Columbia - Island Explorer
Kayaking Eco-Tours
We are not
running these trips in 2007 - for the most similiar experience see
our Inside Passage
- Wildlife Discovery tours.
The British
Columbia coast of western Canada is one of the most spectacular
kayaking areas on earth. Forested mountains, hundreds of lush islands,
former native village sites and abundant wildlife make this region
unforgettable to all who visit.
We have
learned over the years that there are many of you who, like us,
want to kayak the "outer" territories of the expansive British Columbia
coast. This inspired our Lost Islands tours, Farthest Shore trips,
and, most recently, our Island Explorer adventures.
We'll be continuing
this tradition in 2005 with more offerings of our popular Island
Explorer tours.
Our
kayaking area is in a more remote part of the legendary Inside Passage,
surrounded by the snowcapped Coast Range of British Columbia and the rugged
Vancouver Island Range to the west. This area is filled with wildlife and
spectacular beauty, but very few, if any, other kayakers. The Blackfish (Killer
Whale) Archipelago of British Columbia allows for an unparalleled sea kayaking
experience, with its mild, sunny summer weather, calm waters, inspiring scenery
and plentiful wildlife.
Our
Island Explorer trips have all the first-class elements of all our
British Columbia kayaking ecotours: gourmet meals, exceptional,
knowledgeable guides, top quality sea kayaking and camping equipment,
great support from our staff, and help with your travel plans, all
from British Columbia's most experienced sea kayaking tour outfitter.
We welcome you
to join us on one of these memorable kayaking eco-tours - or try
one of our lodge-based or Mothership-based tours. We also offer
4-6 day camping kayaking tours, some of which offer guaranteed whale
sightings or your next trip is free. No experience is required,
and you'll see why kayaking is the finest way to experience this
British Columbia kayaking paradise.
