Our 24th Year kayaking in British Columbia, 2006, was a remarkable season. We continue to feel deeply fortunate to be able to spend our summers in the habitat of the Inside Passage and to share our passion with each of our guests. Thanks to all who were are part of it.

We are working hard on completing our Guest House plans for 2007. We will send out a full description of these new, special 25th Anniversary adventures in January, 2007.

New Trips! - Baja

Any 25th year celebration has to have an element of nostalgia along with some new excitement. In recognition of our heritage of kayaking adventures in the Sea of Cortez, we are returning to that magical sea between the Baja Peninsula and mainland Mexico in April. For just two weeks, we will be voyaging the sea and exploring the islands aboard the 90-foot, 14 passenger ship ‘Fiesta.’

With just two trips, space will be very limited. We would love to have you join us.

2007 Spirit Bear Trips

As we have previously noted, after eight memorable seasons voyaging our beloved northern waters, the Spirit Bear has moved to more southerly waters. We simply want to extend our cruising season from four months to six and the season is that much longer in the southern Vancouver Island waters.

Operating out of Sidney/Victoria, BC, the Spirit Bear will be embarking on a variety of adventures in the Gulf Islands, each custom planned for you when you let us know what you want your dream voyage to be.

Quality Used Gear for Sale

One way to make our 25th Anniversary season special is to have a lot of new gear. That means we have a lot of our “experienced” gear for sale. There are just two kayaks left, a double and a single. But we also have lots of paddles, tents, life vests, VHF radios, Gore-Tex paddling jackets, sleeping bags and pads.
