For all of us at Northern Lights, the safety of our guests is our first priority. Going hand-in-hand with your safety, we want your time with us to be as relaxing and peaceful as it can possibly be.

There are few outdoor adventures that can match the environment of peace and security we are able to provide in the area in which our adventures take place. Our superb, experienced guides have the training and resources to make our adventures as safe as possible and to respond to any conceivable emergency.

Each of our entire Vancouver Island and mainland staff members is on call 24 hours a day to take care of our guests' needs and to provide support to our guides in the field. The Canadian Coast Guard is within an easy radio phone call's range of quickly assisting if ever needed. And each guide team, all thoroughly trained in wilderness first aid, goes out with a full plan of action to cover any situation they or their guests need to respond to.

Our trip area is easily accessed by regularly scheduled airline flights, still the safest way to get from one place to another. And on any day you want to choose, the wilderness coast is just about the safest place you could ask to be.
