Kayak Canada - Sea Kayak Tour Reservations

You can reserve your space on a sea kayak tour in one of two ways:

• Call our office at 800-754-7402 or 360-734-6334, any time. If during business hours, we can confirm your reservation immediately. If not during business hours, we will contact you shortly to confirm your space.
• Use our Online Reservations form. We will contact you shortly to confirm your space.

From outside Canada and the US, dial your International Direct Dial Code followed by 1-360-734-6334. (For Europe and most of South America, the IDDC is 00; Australia's is 001, Japan's is 001. Click here for a complete list.)

Deposit & Method of Payment
We can confirm your reservation with a deposit by credit card online or over the phone or you can put your deposit or full payment in the mail. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, as well as money orders, personal checks or bank checks. Please call or e-mail with any questions.

Terms & Conditions

Physical Requirements
While our trips are not strenuous, good health is necessary. You must determine if your own fitness is appropriate for a sea kayak tour. See our Frequently Asked Questions page for answers to some common questions and concerns. If you have any concerns, please call us, and consult your physician before your trip.

Release of Liability
Each participant will be required to sign and return to Northern Lights a Release of Liability before being allowed to participate in any trip we offer. This document releases Northern Lights Expeditions Ltd. from liability in the case of accident or injury.

Medical
All Northern Lights leaders are trained and certified in wilderness first aid. We carry two-way radios to summon help in an emergency. Northern Lights Expeditions, Ltd. assumes no liability, however, regarding provision of medical care.

Insurance
Northern Lights Expeditions strongly advises you to check your current insurance coverage. We recommend you have adequate medical and personal injury insurance. We also recommend trip cancellation insurance; application forms are sent to you upon making your trip reservations, or get information online from Travelex at www.travelex-insurance.com. Please mention Location Number 47-0319. Their TravelLite option is most used by our guests.

Cancellation Policy
We base refund rates on the date we receive your written cancellation. Changing a reservation from one date to another is sometimes possible, but may require a change fee equal to that of a cancellation. (NOTE: Grizzly Watching and Whale Watching trips employ their own cancellation policy - see below.)

* GST (Canadian tax) is added to all fees.
** If your trip fills after you cancel, your cancellation fee drops to $125 US.

Grizzly Watching and Whale Watching Cancellation Policy
Grizzly Watching and Whale Watching trips employ their own cancellation policy. Refund rates are based on the date we receive your written cancellation.

What This Privacy Policy Covers
This policy covers how Northern Lights Expeditions treats personal information that the company collects and receives via e-mail, our website, customer responses to our promotions and via phone inquiries. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable, like your name, address, e-mail address or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.

Information Collection and Use
Northern Lights Expeditions collects personal information when you sign up for our newsletter and when you give us your personal information for contact purposes. When you register for a trip we offer, we ask for personal information such as your name, e-mail address, home address, and phone number.

Our website also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address and the page you request for purposes of tracking overall site visitor volume and page views.

Northern Lights Expeditions may choose to use this information for the following general purposes:

Northern Lights Expeditions does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or companies unless we are required to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims or when we believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or as otherwise required by law.

Your information will only be used to provide products or services you've requested when we have your permission to contact you according to the following circumstances:
• You have requested information from us.
• You have requested to receive our newsletter.
• A friend has suggested we contact you and you have agreed to opt-in to receive information from us.

Northern Lights Expeditions may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary e-mail address specified by you or by placing a notice on our site.
